'The Elder Scrolls 6' News: Folks at Bethesda Are Well Aware of Fans' Desire to See the Sequel

Devs at Bethesda Game Studios do not determine which project to work on next based on fan comments

It is no secret that many gamers around the world want to see "The Elder Scrolls 6."

Calls for the sought-after sequel have been popping up online for a long time now, and they are likely to continue coming up since the folks at Bethesda Game Studios have not made the game official yet.

Now, it is worth noting that "The Elder Scrolls 6" is going to be made eventually. It is just that there are more than a few fans out there who want it to go into development right now, and the people at Bethesda Game Studios know that.

Speaking recently to GamesRadar, Bethesda vice president for PR and marketing Pete Hines talked about how vocal those fans have been over the years.

Hines noted that they are aware of what the fans are asking for, but those calls are not necessarily going to determine what the developers are going to work on next.

Hines also shared that the developers "want to be able to stretch their legs creatively," as opposed to following a set pattern.

Not all fans are pleased about those comments from Hines, and some of them have made their feelings known directly to him.

In response to some of those fans, Hines clarified that they do indeed listen, but the decision on which project to work on is still one for the developers to make and is not something determined by fan comments.

Notably, there are also some fans open to waiting for the sequel whenever the developers get to it.

It will likely be a while before fans get their first glimpse at "The Elder Scrolls 6," as there are other major titles from Bethesda Game Studios expected to arrive ahead of it. It is still unclear what those other major titles are at this point.
