'The Elder Scrolls' Rumors: Upcoming Title To Be Called 'Skyrim 2? '

After the last "The Elder Scrolls" game captured the hearts of gamers around the world almost five years ago, rumors about its latest version set the gaming world abuzz anew. While there is no confirmation yet, it is rumored that the said game will no longer carry "The Elder Scrolls 6" as its title; rather, it will be known as "Skyrim 2."

According to Neurogadget, Bethesda vice president for public relations and marketing Pete Hines had previously confirmed that "The Elders Scroll 6" is already in development and he also fondly referred to it as "Skyrim 2." This pronouncement left fans wondering as to how the said game will work as a sequel to the global hit "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim."

When another rumor surfaced, claiming that the title of the game in development will carry the title "Argonia," those anticipating the game were further thrown off balance, trying to put two and two together to figure out how Skyrim would be squeezed into it.

By far, there is no solid information on when new game will be released although many gaming websites are betting on 2017 as the year when the game will hit the market. An earlier report said that the game is not really a top priority for Bethesda as the developer has its hands full working on "Fallout 4's" DLC pack.

Meanwhile, fans and gaming experts can only hope that Bethesda will give an update on the "The Elder Scrolls" during its scheduled press conference for the E3 in June.

Many gamers have been baited into the fascination for "The Elder Scrolls," thanks to its rich graphics and riveting storyline. This explains why many are growing impatient over the follow up for it. On the other hand, fans of the game content themselves with "The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" as they eagerly await for the release of the game.
