'The Elder Scrolls Online' News: 'Clockwork City' DLC Pack Released for PC/Mac, New Areas Now Accessible

'Clockwork City' will be released for consoles on Nov. 7

The wait has ended for "The Elder Scrolls Online" players on PC and Mac, as the "Clockwork City" downloadable content pack is now available for their preferred platforms.

Developers have spent the past few weeks detailing the features included in this newest downloadable, and players can now experience those things for themselves.

Once the pack has been downloaded, players will be able to travel to the city and there are different ways for them to do so.

The first way involves going to the city center of Mournhold and tracking down Divayth Fyr's messenger. Once players have found the messenger, they should be given the quest known as "To The Clockwork City."

Alternatively, players can just try to find the city on their own, though developers noted that it is situated "outside" of Tamriel on the map and doing it this way may take some time.

One last method of reaching Clockwork City involves traveling to a guildmate or friend who is already there.

After arriving in Clockwork City, "The Elder Scrolls Online" players may want to take some time to rest a bit inside the Brass Fortress. This is the only segment of the city that is welcoming to outsiders, and players can stock up on items before they journey deeper.

Players will also be given the Scintillant Dovah-Fly for free the first time they set foot inside the Brass Fortress.

Beyond the fortress, there are five different locations that are quite dangerous.

The Sanctuary of Verification and the Asylum Sanctorium are particularly dangerous places, as they serve as the home of powerful enemies. Inside the Sanctuary, players will find the world boss known as The Imperfect, while the Sanctorium is where three Dunmer Saints reside.

Interested PC and Mac players can purchase the "Clockwork City" DLC pack for 2000 Crowns via the Crown Store. ESO Plus subscribers should be able to access it as well.

The "Clockwork City" DLC pack will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of "The Elder Scrolls Online" on Nov. 7.
