'The Elder Scrolls Online' News: 'ESO Home Decoration Contest' Now Underway, Four Categories Can Be Entered

Winners of 'The Elder Scrolls Online's' 'ESO Home Decoration Contest' will be announced next month

Now that the "Homestead" update has been made available for a while now inside "The Elder Scrolls Online," many players have likely gotten the hang of decorating their homes and making them special. And now, those who really excel at this particular part of the game can be rewarded for it.

On March 8, developers officially launched the "ESO Home Decoration Contest," which as its name suggests, is all about encouraging players to come up with their own unique home designs.

Detailed in a recent post on the game's official website, the "ESO Home Decoration Contest" will call on players to submit a screenshot of their home that showcases how it ideally embodies one of four different categories.

The first category is Fight Club, and players who want to enter this one will need to have homes that resemble arenas ideally suited for exhilarating exhibitions of sorcery, swordplay and all kinds of other combat.

Next up, the Hoarders of Tamriel category will reward those players who simply love holding on to the souvenirs they acquire while traveling and defeating numerous enemies inside the game.

The third category is House Party, and it seems as though "The Elder Scrolls Online" players who have their eyes set on winning this one will need to decorate their homes in ways that make them suitable for hosting their friends.

Last up, the Fantastical Constructs category is all about urging players to be as creative as they can possibly be and to express that through using the available furnishing items.

Four different winners – one for each category – will be selected, and those skilled decorators will receive 6000 Crowns, a special lithograph signed by the developers, a new shirt featuring the game, their own private Nedic ruins and also a Digital Collector's Edition of "The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind."

Four runners-up will be chosen too and they will be given a new shirt, a mini poster and 3000 Crowns.

"The Elder Scrolls Online" players can submit their entries until March 31, and the winners and runners-up will be officially named in April.
