'The Flash' Movie News: Ray Fisher's Cyborg to Be Part of the Movie?
Things are looking good for Ezra Miller's "The Flash" movie after film producer Deborah Snyder hinted that Ray Fisher's Cyborg may be part of the Scarlet Speedster's standalone film feature.
Both Miller and Fisher already appeared on the currently showing "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and will be back for bigger exposure in the upcoming "Justice League: Part 1" movie. After which, Miller will head to the big screen via "The Flash's" solo film, which is slated for a March 16, 2018 release. As the movie is scheduled to hit the theaters four months after "Justice League" has been shown, it is fully understandable and sensible for it to include the character of Cyborg in it.
"…As you can imagine, when we get to The Flash movie, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher – who plays Cyborg – are kind of our youngest characters, and they have a really nice camaraderie with each other. Ezra is super-funny, so the tone of that film will be very different than the rest of them," said Snyder in an interview.
Snyder also said that "Justice League" plays an important role in "The Flash" movie's accommodation of Cyborg, pointing out that it is in the former where the heroes will be gathered and know each other.
"… It's where the characters are together. If you have these Justice League movies coming, and you have these individual movies peppered in between, we kind of need to know what the trajectory is," Snyder explained.
Some people are not happy with Miller assuming the role of the Scarlet Speedster in the character's movie incarnation, much more that Grant Gustin's TV version of "The Flash" is enjoying immense popularity. However, Zack Snyder, the director of the upcoming "Justice League" movie, said that Gustin's "The Flash" on TV does not belong to the universe that he has created for the movie incarnations of the superheroes in "Justice League."
