'The Flash' Season 2 Episode 10 Spoilers: Will Patty Finally Find Out the Truth About Barry?

Last season, it was Iris (Candace Patton) who was left out of the big "The Flash" secret, but she eventually found out that her childhood friend, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), is the masked superhero of Central City. This season, the one in the dark is Detective Patty Spivot (Shantel VanSanten), who is also Barry's current love interest, and fans wonder if she'll ever find out that the man she is dating is also The Flash.

According to Design & Trend, Joe West's (Jesse L. Martin) partner might finally discover that Barry and The Flash are just one person, since Barry has been contemplating about telling her the truth. However, the only thing that stops the speedster is knowing that everyone who knows about him is eventually put into danger.

"He's trying to tiptoe around it without blatantly lying to Patty at first, which creates some awkward situations," Grant Gustin told Entertainment Weekly. The actor added that since Barry's been lying to those who don't know his identity longer than before, it has been easier to do that now. "He's getting used to lying to people that he loves to try to keep them safe," Gustin shared. It seems that the point where he tells Patty about The Flash might finally happen soon since the synopsis for the next episode teased fans about it.
