'The Flash' Season 2 Episode 7 Spoilers: Return of Grodd; Team Flash To Find an Ally in Unlikely Speedster?
Apparently, the evil speedster Zoom is too much for Barry Allen to handle. Their first confrontation turns out to be severely fatal for the part of the Scarlett Speedster as he loses his powers and control of his legs. Making matters worse for the hero is the fact that something huge is going to hit Central City when The CW's hit superhero drama TV series "The Flash" Season 2 airs this week.
Titled "Gorilla Warfare," the synopsis posted over at The Futon Critic talks about the imminent return of Gorilla Grodd, the villain who possesses the ability to control minds. According to TFC, the great ape will kidnap Caitlin Snow.
The promo videos shared over at Yibada.com reveals that Grodd has "gotten smarter" and perhaps even more vicious. Furthermore, the telepathic animal wants to recreate more of itself which worries Cisco, who fears that the city might not be able to survive with multiple versions of the gorilla roaming around, wreaking havoc.
Adding more pressure to the situation is that Barry still hasn't got his speed back after the altercation with Zoom.
"I can't stop him," Barry morosely said as he gazed at his suit. Moreover, Team Flash still has to get Caitlin back to safety. The video showed the scientist lying on the concrete floor chained and utterly distressed.
Patty Spivot, meanwhile, can be seen inquiring to someone about the gorilla. Will the relentless detective be able to get wind of Grodd's information?
The question now arise, who will help Team Flash quell off the hyper-intelligent animal?
A teaser clip posted on YouTube for what appears to be the New Zealand network airing of the show reveals the Reverse-Flash offering himself up for the cause.
It can be assumed that this could be Harrison Wells from Earth-2 dressing up as his Earth-1's counterpart.
Fans speculate that Wells will be used as a bait to lure Grodd since the animal is quite loyal to the Reverse Flash. But will he bite it?
Find out how these events unfold when "The Flash" Season 2 airs this Tuesday, Nov. 17, at 8 p.m. on The CW.
