'The Flash' Season 2B Spoilers: New Trailer Released; Reverse-Flash Is Back!

A sneak peek of the upcoming "The Flash" season 2B was just recently released, and fans got excited upon seeing the return of the Reverse-Flash, whom everyone thought to be dead.

In the promo released by The CW network, Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher) was seen alive, and it seems that he will try to give Barry (Grant Gustin) a hard time, just like the other speedster, Zoom (Tony Todd). Fans wonder if this Reverse-Flash is Eobard Thawne's counterpart in Earth-2, and many are excited to know how the people behind "The Flash" will explain his comeback.

For those who do not know, majority of season 1 revolved around Barry's quest to hunt the Reverse-Flash, who is actually Eobard Thawne controlling Harrison Wells' (Tom Cavanagh) body, according to the International Business Times. The website also said that since the Reverse-Flash is making his way back to Central City, someone from the S.T.A.R. Labs will be put in danger, and Barry has to make a very important decision. Many fans guessed that it is going to be Dr. Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker), since she was also seen in the trailer, but this time, she's seen as her meta-human alter ego, Killer Frost.

TV Line noted that Caitlin's alter ego seems to be happy to finally emerge. Killer Frost said in the clip that "it's so much more fun to be bad," and fans are curious if Caitlin will stay this way up until the finale of the second season. Since counterparts have been introduced this season, viewers also wonder if Killer Frost will emerge from the sweet Caitlin they see every week, or if it is her counterpart from Earth-2.

Viewers have also another thing to watch out for this season, and it will be the new addition to the characters, which is Joe's son and Iris' brother, Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale). Fans know that he will become another speedster, based on the comic books, and many expect to see him transition in the second part of the season.

"The Flash" will return from its long break this Jan. 19, Tuesday, on The CW.
