'The Flash' Season 3 Episode 14 Spoilers: Team Flash's Mission on Earth-2 Brings Back Trouble for Earth-1
The villainous gorilla, Grodd (David Sobolov), takes the battle to Earth-1 and sends Team Flash into a frenetic struggle to keep him and his army of gorillas at bay in the next episode of "The Flash."
Episode 13 of The CW's DC-inspired series saw Barry (Grant Gustin) and his team traveling to Earth-2 after Jesse (Violett Beane) told them that her father had been abducted and taken to Gorilla City by Grodd. Upon arriving there, the highly intelligent non-human meta fooled Barry into defeating the city's current king, Solivar, so he could step. He planned to take over and use his newfound authority to lead an army of gorillas back to his old home.
Next week's episode titled "Attack on Central City" continues the two-part arc after Gypsy (Jessica Camacho) helps the gorillas cross over into Earth-1. Team Flash will be hard-pressed on figuring out a way to stop the vengeful Grodd and his army from overrunning their city. Will The Flash, and his speedster allies, Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale) and Jesse Quick (Violett Beane) be strong enough, fast enough, and smart enough to take Grodd on? What would the consequences of failure be?
The official promo shows the three speedsters standing together in unity as they await the arrival of Grodd's army. They will be getting some assistance from the police courtesy of Joe (Jesse L. Martin). But even with the added reinforcement, they are still glaringly outnumbered. Will The Flash still be able to hold on to hope in such a hopeless situation?
Meanwhile, Jesse has been contemplating about staying with Wally on Earth-1 after the latter asked her to in the previous episode. Episode 14 will see her finally deciding to stay, but how will this affect her father, Harry (Tom Cavanagh), and the duties she will be leaving behind as Earth-2's resident speedster?
"The Flash" season 3 episode 14 airs on Tuesday, Feb. 28, at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
