'The Flash' Season 4 Spoilers: Barry Allen Faces Extremely Stretchable Nemesis
Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), also known as The Flash, has a lot of nemesis like all heroes do. However, one of his adversaries stand out for his extremely stretchable features and he will pay the protagonist a visit in the next episode of "The Flash" season 4.
Ralph Dibny (Hartley Sawyer), aka the Elongated Man, will appear in the next episode that is titled pretty much for his stint — "Elongated Journey Into the Night."
The short trailer for the "Elongated Journey Into the Night" opens by showing Ralph Dibny being bullied by two men each holding Ralph's leg and hangs him upside down on the edge of a tall building.
A scared Ralph screams at them: "Put me down." Then, the two hooligans toy with him further and pretends to drop him as he requested which further increased his anxiety and cried: "Don't put me down! Don't put me down!"
Then, Barry Allen and Det. Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) are seen discussing the background of Ralph who used to be a cop.
In another scene, Ralph is seen in a hospital bed surrounded by other characters. When Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) grabs his left arm, everyone else is shocked when it stretched for a good few meters long.
Joe, then, tells Ralph that after seeing absurd stuff for four years, his elongated arm is the first one to make him puke.
Ralph, Caitlin, and Joe are joined by Barry, Iris West (Candice Patton), and Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) in the hospital room.
On the other hand, the "Elongated Journey Into the Night" will also feature Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) in his own dilemma as Gypsy's (Jessica Camacho) father suddenly appears on Earth-1, according to the episode's synopsis.
Gypsy's father, Breacher (Danny Trejo), will not only show up on Earth-1 unannounced. He will also go on hunting mode with only Cisco as his target after immediately knowing that he does not want Cisco for Gypsy.
"Elongated Journey Into the Night" will air on Tuesday, Oct. 31, at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
