'The Flash' Series Spoilers: The Flash Defeats Zoom in Episode 18

It is still a matter of days before "The Flash's" episode 18 for its second season, but, this early, fans are already looking forward to it after CW released an official photo from a scene in the upcoming episode that shows Zoom taking Wally West as his hostage.

The episode in reference is "Versus Zoom," which airs on April 19, goes with the following description:

"Equipped with the tachyon device, Barry believes he is fast enough to stop Zoom (guest star Teddy Sears) and wants to open the breaches to catch him. Harry strongly advises against that plan but after Barry convinces him, Harry reveals that Cisco has the power to re-open the breach. Meanwhile, Hunter Zoloman's painful story on Earth-2 is revealed."

Apparently, Zoom is defeated in the upcoming April 19 episode as various sources claim that the succeeding episode after "Versus Zoom" features the Team Flash going back to their normal lives after defeating Zoom. Reportedly, the Scarlet Speedster wins over Zoom because the former obtains the equation to the Speed-Force, enabling him to emerge victorious in his fight with the latter sans the presence of the velocity serum.

According to Movie Pilot, episode 19 is titled "Back to Normal," a clear indication that Barry Allen and the rest of Team Flash have defeated Zoom and live their normal lives once more. The website noted that life for the characters in the series was hard for much of its second season, and episode 19 will showcase that breather.

However, just after the dust has settled, another Meta-Human shows up in Central City. The Meta-Human, Griffin Grey, will allegedly kidnap Harrison Wells to force him cure him from being a Meta-Human. The Flash will rescue Harrison Wells from Griffin Grey before the Meta-Human can discover that no one can cure him from being one.

"The Flash" airs on CW every Tuesdays. It stars Grant Gustin as The Flash/Barry Allen. Other members of the cast include Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramo, Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells, Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West, Teddy Sears as Jay Garrick, and Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West . Meanwhile, Tony Todd lends his voice to Zoom.
