'The Following' Season 2 Spoilers: Joe and Ryan Forced to Team Up in Finale
"The Following" season two is winding down with just two episodes left, leaving fans wondering what is next for Ryan Hardy and his arch nemesis Joe Carroll.
The Kevin Bacon-starred drama wraps up its second season on April 28 on Fox, with details just recently released about the finale, entitled "Forgive."
"The tables turn on Ryan and Joe in the season finale of 'The Following,'" the press release indicated, according to Fox. "Mark and Luke (Sam Underwood) turn the tables on both Ryan (Bacon) and Joe (James Purefoy), forcing the two scorn enemies to come together to save the woman they love in the all-new 'Forgive.'"

Moreover, the season finale will guest-star Sprague Grayden as Carrie Cooke, while Mackenzie Marsh will portray Tilda. Felix Solis, Carter Jenkins and Connor Fox also guest-star.
Meanwhile, "The Following" fans are still recovering from the shock that Ryan and Joe's mutual love, Claire, lives on after supposedly being stabbed to death at the end of season one. Furthermore, in season two, Ryan seems to get his life back on track, even finding a love interest starting over in New York City.
"Seemingly I have lost my obsession for Joe," Bacon explained of his character the the start of season two, according to New York Daily News. "He is no longer burning insider my heart the way he was in season one."
However, as the finale spoilers indicated, Ryan and Joe not only reignite their rivalry, but are put to a new test when forced together on behalf of Claire.
"The Following" airs on Fox Mondays at 9 p.m. EST. This week's April 21 installment is entitled "Silence." The synopsis is as follows: "Ryan and Mike try to stop Joe from going forward with his plan, which threatens many lives. Meanwhile, Claire makes a dangerous decision, and Mark and Luke try to figure out what to do next."
