The Game's Wedding Back On, Was Cancellation A Publicity Stunt?

Jayceon Terrell Taylor, known as "The Game," has reportedly agreed to proceed with his wedding despite canceling the event one week ago.

The renowned rapper, who blamed cold feet for canceling the wedding on July 19, is again preparing to marry his long-time girlfriend and baby's mother Tiffney Cambridge, according to new reports.

The couple of seven years will wed in August and will film their special day for an upcoming reality TV series, according to TMZ.com.

It is unclear what prompted The Game's change of heart just one week after he admitted that he was not ready for such a commitment, but some critics suspect that it may have been a publicity stunt to boost ratings for their upcoming reality show.

The Game, 32, teamed up with 51 Minds Entertainment, which will produce the reality show and it will reportedly focus on his decision to marry Cambridge along with the usual drama surrounding celebrity wedding preparations.

He recently took to Twitter where he explained the couple's decision to cancel their wedding.

"The rumors are TRUE. The wedding is OFF. It's not her fault, it's mine ! She's a GREAT woman, I just wasn't man enough 2 see it through," he tweeted.

The Game proposed to Cambridge after seven years together in October 2011 and spoke about their rocky relationship.

"As a man, this is that day where you throw your player card away and you kinda gotta step up and be a family man, and she deserves it. It's been a long run, and we've been together at least seven years," the rapper told MTV.

"We've been off, we've been on, we've been arguing, we fought. We had good times and bad times, and I think that at the end of the day, as a man, this is something that I owed to her and I owed to my family, so it was time," he added.
