Fans of the hit TV series "The Good Wife" have been wondering whether one of the show's characters is gay.
Ever since the premiere of "The Good Wife" season 7, there have been speculations whether Cary, played by Matt Czuchry, is gay. The buzz regarding his sexuality began when a scene between Cary and Dirk, played by Phillip Shinn, was shared.
The executive producer of the series, Robert King, shared some details about the matter. According to TV Line, he stated, "We liked how Cary was out of step in trying to get in touch with the newest generation coming into the law firm."

He denied the rumors regarding Cary's sexuality by saying the scene between Cary and Dirk was simply a misunderstanding. He added, "He wanted to belong and he wanted them to feel like they belonged. And of course it's misinterpreted by the young associate as a come-on."
Cary's love life will not be the only romance talked about in the upcoming episodes. It was said that the series will continue to discuss the events of the midseason finale, which revealed that Will Gardner, played by Josh Charles, had tried to confess his love for Alicia, played by Julianna Marguiles.
Unfortunately, Alicia was not able to receive his ultimatum because Eli, played by Alan Cummings, deleted the message from Gardner. He did this in order to maintain the unity in the family, which will help Peter in his presidential elections.
With that, the episodes to come are also expected to showcase how the family dynamics will change as they prepare for the elections. This will put much pressure on Alicia to set her own worries aside in order to accommodate Peter's career milestone.
"The Good Wife" season 7 is expected to return to the small screens this Jan. 10.
