'The Good Wife Season 7 Spoilers: Will Alicia and Jason's Relationship Have Consequences For Peter's Campaign?
Fans are going to be emotionally involved in the upcoming episode of "The Good Wife" as it explores further the relationship of Alicia (Julianna Margulies) and Jason (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), but the issue is how it will affect Peter's (Chris Noth) presidential candidacy.
For the most part, Alicia has done an impressive job trying to keep the personal things within the corners of her heart. However, it seems that something much more intense than that in the previous episodes is set to take place.
In Sunday night's episode, Alicia looked into the past of the man who seems to be taking too much of her attention. While it is unclear what other things she found out about Jason's dirty history, fans did see that she discovered Jason's disbarment as a lawyer.
The next episode, titled "Discovery," will apparently reveal something out of the extraordinary. It has yet to be revealed who will make a discovery, or who will be discovered, but based on the cliff-hanger in the episode "Restraint," the discovery might have something to do with Alicia and Jason.
Also, Carter Matt's preview of the upcoming episode hints that Alicia and Jason's blooming relationship "might" possibly cause a stir. The synopsis adds further anticipation as it reads: "Eli and Ruth worry about the nature of Alicia's relationship with Jason and how it could impact Peter's presidential campaign."
When Peter became governor, Alicia was still wrapped up in her covers, but this time, someone could dig into the smallest details that will pose a threat to her husband's candidacy.
Just as it is in real life, running for the country's top position will require a neat and dignified background that will win the hearts of voters. If even a single ray of light is shone on Alicia's relationship with Jason, Peter's run for a higher office will surely crumble — something that will also apparently affect Alicia's new firm.
The upcoming episode will also see how much Alicia is willing to take her firm to the next level. She will be working with Lucca (Cush Jumbo) and Louis Canning (Michael J. Fox) to take on the case of a website accused of racial profiling.
"The Good Wife" airs every Sunday, at 9 p.m. on CBS.
