'The King of Fighters: Destiny' Episode 9 Spoilers: Geese and R's Plans to Be Revealed?
The tournament is about to commence, but something even more intriguing is happening in the background. What will the next episode of the Japanese CGI anime series, "The King of Fighters: Destiny," reveal about Geese's true intentions?
The preview shown at the end of last week's episode talked about some black crystals with unknown dangerous elements being stolen from the United States Army six months prior. Also, it seems that Geese and the King of Fighters (KOF) tournament sponsor named R may have been involved.
This brings far more danger to the competition than any of the participants can imagine, and participating in KOF may well bring their lives much closer to the end than they intended to.
Furthermore, Terry seems to have come too close to finding out the truth about Geese's plan and is about to become a target. Will he be able to leave Geese's place and thus tell everyone else about what's really going down during the KOF tournament? Or has he already entered his final resting place?
Last week's episode also brought together the familiar fighters from the game, "The King of Fighters '94," which included Athena, Kensou, Kim, Ralf, and more. All potential participants in the upcoming tournament were required to sign in at the Geese Tower.
With this many strong fighters gathering in one place, can Geese's plans still manage to come to pass, or will the tournament participants catch on, team up, and succeed in bringing him down instead?
Then again, it seems that the tournament itself may well be the very thing that Geese and R plans to use in order to keep them occupied, and quite possibly under their control, literally.
A new episode of "The King of Fighters: Destiny" is released on Thursdays by Steam as well as by SNK on its official YouTube channel.
