'The Last Man on Earth' Season 2 Episode 7 Spoilers: Erica Announces Her Pregnancy
Post-apocalyptic comedy television series "The Last Man on Earth" has just aired its sixth episode for Season 2 and the thing that they never thought would happen finally happened. One of the ladies in the group is pregnant and it's none other than Erica (Cleopatra Coleman).
The previous episode titled "A Real Live Wire" was filled with discussion about the women having babies for the purpose of rebuilding the society again. But despite the apocalyptic situation, most of the ladies of Malibu aren't too keen on having children. Melissa (January Jones), Erica and Gail (Mary Steenburgen) expressed that they did not want to reproduce unlike Carol (Kristen Schaal), who thinks reproduction is the most essential thing.
Of course, the women had their own reasons for not wanting to get pregnant. A detailed report by i09 said that Erica did not want to alter her fit body. Gail felt she's too old to have a baby, while Melissa said that the world is no longer a safe place for children to grow up into especially since there would be no doctors, no electricity, no schools, no friends and a whole lot more. But that will be changing now since a baby is coming.
According to Latin Post, episode 7 will pick up from the last episode's events. The upcoming one, which is titled "Baby Steps," will see Phil deciding to stay in the group after wanting to leave Malibu and inviting Carol to join him. And his decision to stay is because he is the father of the baby that Erica is carrying.
The promo video released showed Erica announcing that she's pregnant. But Carol didn't quite hear it so she asked to have it said again. Both Erica and Tandy answered her but instead of rejoicing for finally having one of the ladies pregnant, Carol congratulated the mom-to-be with less enthusiasm. Carol's facial expression isn't happy either.
Gail is also seen saying, "I think he's almost worse than Tandy," to which Tandy replied, "Almost worse than me? Thank you." He's still putting some ice on his eye after being fist-hit by Phil (Boris Kodjoe).
"The Last Man on Earth" season 2 episode 7 will air on Sunday, Nov. 15 at Fox.
