'The Last Man on Earth' Season 4 Spoilers: Series to Say Goodbye to Pamela Soon as More New Characters Appear
Newcomer Pamela Brinton (Kristen Wiig) may have saved the Malibu survivors from a vengeful and shotgun-wielding Pat Brown (Mark Boone Junior), but this did not prove to be enough to seal her place in Tandy's crew. And what she did to ensure that she will never be left on her own again may have major repercussions for herself and Tandy Miller (Will Forte) on the next episode of FOX's apocalyptic comedy series, "The Last Man on Earth."
As things stand now, Tandy is left with Pamela on the yacht while the rest of the group floats away aboard a rubber boat towards a mysterious island that seems to be inhabited by a yet to be known castaway.
In an interview with Hollywood Reporter, series creator and main cast member Forte teased that this unidentified new character will be played by yet another one of his comedy heroes, much like Jack Black, whose character, Rear Admiral Roy Billups, was shot dead just seconds into his appearance in the season 4 premiere.

Forte added that this said character will also have a "fun storyline" with Pamela after their eventual reunion with the rest of the group.
Another thing that fans can look forward to is an upcoming episode that focuses on Carol's birth, about which Forte said, "You've never seen a birth like this, I'll just say that. It's a pretty fun moment."
There will also be appearances from more special guests as well as the eventual departure of Wiig, whom Forte said they have already been lucky to have on the show for as long as they could.
"New guest stars will be coming in and out — we have very fun ways to introduce a couple new people," Forte said, further adding that they might make another stand-alone episode for an upcoming new character.
In the meantime, it seems that the next episode will be all about Tandy trying to find a way to get back together with his crew, especially with his wife, Carol Pilbasian (Kristen Schaal) and their unborn child.
And although the preview for the next episode titled "Stocko Syndrome" seems to tease that Pamela and Tandy may finally be warming up to each other, the teaser summary reveals that Tandy will be devising an escape plan in order to get away from Pamela and be reunited with the rest of survivors.
