'The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild' Eighth Heroine Guide: How to Obtain the Sand Boots and Snow Boots

The recently released "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" offers a huge, expansive open world that just teases to be discovered in every inch and cranny there is. As such, the game also provides various sidequests that allow players to get some nifty accessories while exploring the seemingly limitless terrain, and the tedious yet rewarding task for the Eighth Heroine is one of those.

In order to start the quest, one must first obtain the Gerudo Vai outfit, a clothing that needs to be acquired in order to advance in the main story, so it should be easy to find. Moreover, it is needed in order to enter Gerudo Town, which is the area where Link can start the quest for the Eighth Heroine. It can be purchased from a peculiarly dressed merchant at the top of the Kara Kara Bazaar.

So that Link can purchase the outfit, however, he must provide the right answers so that Vilia, the merchant, agrees to sell the traditional garb. IGN has created a video showing exactly what to say and what happens after, although it contains spoilers so those who have not reached this point in the game yet should look away.

Once wearing the Gerudo Vai outfit, Link needs to proceed to Gerudo town, which is now accessible while wearing the clothes. Gosu Noob reports that a person running around during the day by the name of Bozai should provide details about the sidequest, saying that there is a hidden eighth statue. By accepting the mission, he loans the snow boots temporarily in order for the player to traverse easily in the required area.

The statue of the eighth heroine can be found in the mountains to the north, Gerudo Highlands, which is near the Gerudo Summit and Mount Agaat. After finding it, returning to Bozai will mean returning the snow boots but will net the sand boots, allowing faster mobility in the sand.

To get the snow boots permanently, Link needs to get proof that a sword for the eighth heroine exists, which lies somewhere south of the Gerudo Summit area. After which, Bozai awards the snow boots.

This is just one of the many sidequests, guaranteeing a lot of fun in the world of "Breath of the Wild."
