'The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild' Rumors: 'The Champions' Ballad' DLC Due Out on Nov. 23?
New story, dungeon and other new features included in 'The Champions' Ballad'
At least one more downloadable content pack is coming to "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," and players are already looking forward to getting their hands on it.
The DLC pack in question is "The Champions' Ballad," and it will be the second one included in the currently available Expansion Pass.
As seen on the game's official website, the DLC pack is due out sometime during this upcoming holiday season.
Recently, series producer Eiji Aonuma reassured fans in a video posted by NintendoAU that "The Champions' Ballad" will be released "by the end of this year."
Still, fans understandably want a more specific date of arrival, and something spotted online recently may have just given away the exact day that "Breath of the Wild" players should have marked down on their calendars.
Nintendo's official Japanese website currently has a listing up for an Additional Content Download Card which features the contents of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's" Expansion Pass, and notably, there is an exact release date for it.
The exact release date for the Additional Content Download Card is Nov. 23, and since this presumably contains "The Champions' Ballad" as well, many fans believe that the DLC pack will go live on that same day.
Nov. 23 is certainly in line with the release window that the developers have provided, so it is a date players may want to keep in mind at the very least.
Once "The Champions' Ballad" is officially released either on Nov. 23 or on some other day, players can look forward to it bringing a new storyline. There will also be a new dungeon included in this DLC pack that players can explore. Developers also indicated that more challenges are going to be presented to the players via the DLC pack.
More news about "The Champions' Ballad" and "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" should be made available in the near future.
