'The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild' Tips and Tricks: Guide to Make Money, Upgrade Weapons
Now that players are enjoying the newly released "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" game, a number of reports have several tips on how to make more money as well as how to effectively upgrade some of the weapons.
"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is one of those games where, just like in real life, players need to work hard to earn money. Luckily, reports like the one in GameSpot have gathered several tips on how to easily make more in-game money.
First, players should not hesitate to collect as many items as they can. Gamers are advised not to worry about filling up their inventory space because they can always sell any item. This will help them free up their storage while earning in-game money at the same time.
Players are also advised to be mindful of sparkly rocks because they just might be a gem or valuable stone. According to the same GameSpot report, a sparkly black rock is most likely to contain a type of ore which will also expand the player's bank. Mining these kinds of rocks can be accomplished through bombs. However, if the impact is too much, it might also destroy the gem. So hitting the rock with a sledgehammer is the safer way to go.
Apart from extra items in the storage, extra food supplies and a cooked meal can also be sold to help the player make some money. If the amount of hearts a meal restores is more than needed, players should not hesitate to sell the meal. Besides, gamers can always cook more food after some hunting and harvesting.
On the other hand, Tristan Cooper from Dorkly has recently shared an unlikely way of getting a brand new upgraded weapon. Once a player's sword gets rusty, all they need to do is let an Octorok swallow and chew the rusty weapon. Surprisingly, the monster will spit out the weapon in a brand new state.
However, in another tweet, Cooper shared that the trick does not work for damaged weapons. Meanwhile, Polygon reports that the effect is the same for rusty shields.
