'The Magicians' Season 1 Episode 3 Spoilers: Feb. 1 Episode To Feature More Spellbinding Drama
Syfy's newest small screen offering, "The Magicians," premiered last week with back to back episodes that left viewers enchanted with its unique storyline. According to spoiler reports, Episode 3 will further reveal more spellbinding drama as the plot grows even darker as Season 1 continues.
According to International Business Times, the upcoming episode titled "The Consequences of Advanced Spellcasting" will find Penny (Arjun Gupta) quite "overwhelmed" with his newfound psychic powers. The media outlet said that he might consider using this ability to finally confront the Beast.
It was revealed back in Episode 1 that the reason why Penny was in the classroom, which coincidentally marked the debut of the Beast, is because of the voice inside his head telling him to go to that place. Fans are already wondering if the voice belongs to a friend or foe.
In another development, Alice (Olivia Taylor Dudley) continues to investigate her brother's mysterious death at the Brakebills University. According to the synopsis shared by the website, the apprentice will go to any lengths in order to find the truth behind her brother's disappearance.
For those who missed it, Alice is determined to call on her dead brother Charlie (Ben Esler) and ask him what happened. However, things take a turn for the worse when instead of summoning her sibling, she end up calling for The Beast, instead.
Furthermore, Quentin (Jason Ralph) and Julia's (Stella Maeve) relationship will encounter some setbacks when they have an "unexpected, and somewhat volatile, reunion."
"The Magicians," which premiered on Jan. 25, unveiled the story of Quentin whose dream of becoming a great magician finds him in Brakebills. He discovered along the way that magic is actually real and if handled incorrectly, could harm people. His friend, Julia got denied of admission and opted to learn the art elsewhere.
Based on the novel of the same name by Lev Grossman, "The Magicians" air Mondays on SyFy.
