The premiere episode of season 5 could leave the viewers, either disappointed or proud of Mindy. At least, the fans can get one of the show's biggest questions out of the way: who is she going to choose between the two guys in her life?
While both camps from Team Danny and Team Jody were left feeling defeated, some fans are just happy that Mindy has finally made her choice.
Mindy decided to be herself for a while and not to pick between the two. The decision was influenced by an unlikely nurse turned desk clerk turned relationship guru.
On one of her conversations with Bev, she confided her feeling of uncertainty and how she's still pretty much torn between the two. Mindy admitted that she feels like, somehow, she is under the moral obligation to make the choice between Danny and Jody.
"I mean, picking neither would be irresponsible," she told Bev thinking that she can't go wrong choosing either of them. But, Bev had the perfect response.
"If neither one of these guys is right, wait for someone special to come along. Until then, get escorts. Or crank it." And that's where Mindy had her epiphany.
And before the end of the episode, the fans could see a happy Mindy, figuratively, walking out of the two guy's lives.
