'The Originals' Season 4 Updates: Hope's Dark Side Will Be Discovered; Klaus Faces A Vicious Villain To Protect Hope
Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) and Hayley Mashall (Phoebe Tonkin) will discover a dark side of Hope (Summer Fontana) once the fourth season of" The Originals" kicks off.
A Dark Side Of Hope
Once the show gets back, there is a time jump from the last season which will show Hope to be all grown up. Klaus will also escape from the prison of Marcel Gerard (Charles Michael Davis). A new villain named Alistair Duquesne (Neil Jackson) who has a grudge over the original hybrid for a hundred years will hunt Klaus in the fourth season.

A mysterious force will also cause harm to the children in New Orleans. It would lead Klaus and Hayley to be protective of Hope. This mysterious force is somewhat connected to Alistair and the connection between the two will be revealed in the upcoming season.
Meanwhile, Hope being Klaus' daughter will have a dark side within her that will surprise her parents. She will start to come out of her own. It would also surprise Klaus and Hayley that darkness is not the only element that would be present in Hope but even her powers of being a witch is creeping up as well. Hope will become Freya's (Riley Voelkel) ally instead of becoming Klaus and Hayley's protégé.
The Originals Season 4 will begin with the Michaelson's being rescued from Marcel's curse. The curse can only be taken out by the two remaining members of the family.
The Family Under Marcel's Spell
It can be recalled that Klaus was supposed to suffer in pain for the rest of eternity. This is due to the Tunde Blade that has been embedded in his chest. The witch sent Freya, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Kol (Nathaniel Bozolic) in another dimension instead of killing them. Rebekah, on the other hand, would be useless for them since she is also dealing with her own curse.
All of them need to be rescued and the only answer will come from Hayley and her daughter Hope. They both need to find the seven werewolves pack, the key to saving the Mikaelson's. Also, the upcoming season will render the epic fight between Klaus and Alistair.
Unfortunate circumtaces await Hope. She would also learn that every power and spell comes with a price. Along the way Hope will eventually bring out her dark side, a force that is stronger than anybody in her family.
Fans and followers can expect a lot of surprises once "The Originals" Season 4 airs in the midseason of 2017.
