'The Originals' Season 5 Spoilers: Rebekah Reaches Out to Caroline to Save Klaus
Rebekah (Claire Holt) is not ready to give up on her relationship with her brother Klaus (Joseph Morgan) in the upcoming final season of "The Originals."
Spoilers reveal that Rebekah's storyline will be one of the focus in the new installment. Fans of Holt were overjoyed when she posted a photo of her and Morgan on her Instagram account.
Last finale, the Mikaelsons were forced to separate to protect Hope (now played by Danielle Rose Russell). Their bodies were used to store parts of the Hollow's soul. To prevent the powerful force from being resurrected, the siblings need to stay away from each other for the rest of their lives.
Rebekah was thoroughly against the idea of spending forever without her brothers and sister. Still, she understood that Klaus only wanted his daughter to be safe. It has been teased that all of the Originals will suffer due the forced separation.
Klaus will try to deal with his depression by going on killing sprees. His exploits will even reach Rebekah in whatever place she is hiding. This is where Caroline (Candice King) will come in. The blonde vampire will reportedly travel to New Orleans at Rebekah's request.
Caroline is a close friend of Klaus. In fact, in the past, he was sure that she was the one for him. Caroline is expected to help the hybrid in his trying times. There are also rumors that she will finally let herself to fall in love with Klaus. Caroline has previously lost her husband Stefan (Paul Wesley). Klaus' girlfriend Cami (Leah Pipes), on the other hand, was killed.
Meanwhile, TVLine reports that a new character will be introduced in season 5. Landon is described as a human boy who has major family problems. In his quest to find out more about his past, he will stumble upon the dangerous world of the supernatural. It is possible that Landon will be connected to Hope's storyline. The character will reportedly appear in the latter part of the season.
"The Originals" season 5 will air sometime in 2018.
