'The Real Housewives of Orange County' Cast Rumors, News: Brooks Ayers Partying Despite Fake Cancer Controversy
Brooks Ayers has definitely had a hard time this season on "The Real Housewives of Orange County" (RHOC). All throughout the current season, Ayers has been seen defending himself countless times, to prove that his current diagnosed disease is genuine. However, his recent actions and whereabouts do not seem to guarantee him any sympathy from fans.
According to US Weekly, Ayers was seen out and about last Saturday, Sept. 26 around Fort Lauderdale, Florida with a couple of friends and noticeably without his now ex-girlfriend Vicki Gunvalson. Ayers has reportedly been quite active during that night, having the energy to continue on partying until the early hours. An eyewitness shared, "He was drinking. He honestly looked great and in great shape." Ayers was apparently in the Cyn Nightclub with five other pals. The insider further added, "It looked like some sort of guys-night-out situation."
In RHOC, Meghan King Edmonds has been going head-to-head against Ayers as she continuously tries to disprove of Ayer's diagnosis of stage 3 Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. This has definitely been getting on Ayers' nerves, which is why in the latest episode he went to visit a doctor to get evidence. However, all the doctor had told him was a large mass in his abdomen.
Ayers shared, "The fact that these women are doubting my illness absolutely pisses me off."
After he showed the image of the PET scan to Tamra Judge, Edmonds was quick to call the doctor's office in which Ayers had reportedly went to, only to find out that no scan for patients with Non-Hdogkin's Lymphoma was being offered in the said clinic.
Vicki Gunvalson also announced her split from Ayers last August after four years of being together.
They released an official statement that says, "After much prayer, thought, counseling, and consideration, we have decided to end our four year relationship. We both wish nothing but a great future for each other. We have come to realize that one can indeed love someone in their heart, but that the time may come for their lives to take separate paths. Though the remaining episodes of season 10 of The Real Housewives of Orange County will show us as a couple, the filming took place in January 2015 through May 2015. There will be no further statements or interviews regarding our relationship as we choose to move on with our lives. Though we choose to live our lives in the public eye, we thank you for your understanding and ask privacy during this difficult time."
