'The Real Housewives of Orange County' Cast News: Vicki Gunvalson, Kelly Dodd to Return for Season 12

Reality stars Vicki Gunvalson and Kelly Dodd will be returning to Bravo TV's reality series "The Real Housewives of Orange County" for its upcoming 12^th season.

According to US Weekly, a source confirmed that the forthcoming 12^{th season of the reality TV show will be Dodd's second season, while Gunvalson's return makes her the lone remaining member of the unscripted series' original cast. She'll be the only one to have appeared in all 12 seasons of the show.}

Gunvalson and Dodd were both at the center of a serious conflict in the show's 11^{th season, particularly their feud with long-time cast member Tamra Judge.}

Previous reports have surfaced claiming that the two reality stars were working to remove Judge from the show. However, their alleged efforts ended in failure with the confirmation that Judge will be part of the season 12 cast as well.

Aside from Gunvalson, Dodd, and Judge, "The Real Housewives of Orange County" alumna Lydia McLaughlin will also be returning for season 12 as a full-time cast member. She previously appeared on the show during its eighth season and was a fan favorite because of her bubbly personality.

Cast member Shannon Beador will also be back on "The Real Housewives of Orange County" for its 12^{th season, making it her fourth season as part of the show. Meghan King Edmonds, on the other hand, will reportedly not return after being part of the TV show's cast for two seasons.}

In January, reality star Heather Dubrow also announced her departure from the show.

"At this point in my life, I have decided to go in another direction and do what's best for my family and career," Dubrow said in a statement to the show's producers, according to the Daily Mail. "After a lot of careful thought and deliberation, I have decided not to return to 'RHOC' this season," she continued.

However, Dubrow did not completely rule out the possibility of returning to the reality TV series in the future.

"Should I change my mind, I thank Andy Cohen, Evolution and Bravo for telling me that the door is always open."

"The Real Housewives of Orange Country" season 12 has no official premiere date yet.
