'The Resident Evil: The Final Chapter' Cast News: New Faces Will Be Coming to the Big Screen
The final installment of the "Resident Evil" franchise is expected to bring in some new characters on the list.
Titled "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter," the upcoming film will be featuring a South Korean actor named Lee Joon-gi. It was said that he will be taking on the role of Commander Lee for the Umbrella Corporation. It was said that the new film will be Joon-gi's debut in a Hollywood film. Meanwhile, he has starred in several Korean television series. These include "My Girl," "Arang and the Magistrate," "Two Weeks," as well as "Scholar Who Walks the Night."
He will be joined by Milla Jovovich, who will reprise her role as Alice. The actress herself confirmed that Joon-gi will be taking on a role in the upcoming film. She recently posted a photo on her Instagram page that featured Joon-gi. The caption for the photo reads, "Working for the last few nights with the incredible 3rd Dan Tae Kwon Do master and actor, Joon Gi, has been insanely fun and so inspiring. Makes me want to go back to class and brush up on my martial arts skills!"

Alice will be going back to the city to take down an enemy causing destruction. Other stars that will be returning to the big screen will be Ali Larter as Claire Redfield, Iain Glen as Dr. Alexander Isaacs, and Shawn Roberts as Albert Wesker. There are speculations that Ruby Rose, from "Orange Is the New Black," will be taking on a role in the film as well.
