The Rock's Hercules Workout Has the Wrestler Bigger Than Ever
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is going to be the next Hercules in an upcoming movie, and to fit the part he is going through intense workouts and seven-meal-a-day diets and becoming even bigger than he was as a wrestler.
According to the Huffington Post, the Rock's 22 week diet plan includes 14 egg whites and over three pounds of meat throughout the course of seven meals.
He has also been posting a lot of photos of him putting up ridiculous amounts of weight at the gym.
The film, "Hercules: The Thracian Wars," is set for a 2014 release and is currently still in the process of being filmed.
The wrestler turned action star Tweeted a picture of himself working alongside cinematographer Dante Spinotti.
"Honor to work w/ HERCULES Cinematographer & multi Academy Award nominee Dante Spinotti," he posted.
The Rock began working on the movie right after the WWE's Wrestlemania where he suffered an abdominal injury and hernia. Despite an emergency surgery, he went right to work on the film and his regime.
"Surgery a success," he tweeted right after the surgery. "Dr repaired 3 hernial tears (fun pain). Superman is on the mend. #WeFallWeRise"
"In the middle of last night's Wrestlemania match I tore my abdomen & abductor muscles off the bone. Just part of the job," he tweeted about the match where he squared off against superstar John Cena. "[The doctors had] push my intestines back thru the tear in my abdomen. Kinda romantic."
