'The Secret Life of Pets' News: Movie Releases Easter Trailer
As the kids and the kids at heart excitedly awaiting the release of "The Secret Life of Pets," Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures released another teaser of the animated movie that is meant to wish moviegoers a happy Easter. The teaser casts the spotlight on one of the movie's characters, Snowball, a white rabbit, and his funny antics.
The short teaser starts with a scene showing Snowball emerging from the manhole holding a piece of carrot, while a voiceover describes him as not an Easter bunny. Looking adorable, Snowball catches the fancy of a cop approaching him. At the bat of an eyelash, the bunny launches an attack on the cop, saying "Shut up, human!"
The next scene is accompanied by a voiceover saying "This is not an Easter bonnet" as a bonnet-wearing Snowball lying in a baby stroller is shown freaking out an old lady who realizes the thing inside the stroller is no human baby after all.

The rest of the trailer shows the naughtiness of Snowball in various scenes, and ends with a voiceover greeting the viewers of the teaser "Happy Easter from Secret Life of Pets."
"The Secret Life of Pets" is the fifth fully-animated film feature of Illumination Entertainment and Universal and tackles an imagining of what pets do when they are left at home as their respective masters go to work or school every day.
The animated film hits the U.S. theaters on July 8, 2016.
Meanwhile, Toy News reported that Spin Master, the official toy partner of "The Secret Life of Pets" is launching a wide array of plush toys, figures, interactive, and motorized toys based on the movie. The toy company is certain that its upcoming line of "The Secret Life of Pets" toys will just be as successful with that of its "Minions" line.
"With such a variety of fun pet characters, each with their own unique personality, there's a pet that will resonate with every consumer," assured Phil Hooper, Spin Master's UK commercial marketing director.
