'The Sims 4: Get Together' Launch Day Delayed to December

Fans of "The Sims" game will need to wait a little longer to get the expansion pack for "The Sims 4" called "Get Together" as it has been announced that its arrival will be delayed. According to Vine Report, the game was originally slated to be released in November but due to some reason, the schedule has been moved to December this year.

The source noted that the publisher Electronic Arts decided to push back the release date in order to do some finishing touches. The senior producer, Lyndsay Pearson, detailed in the official website that they are delighted to see fan reactions and even closely followed all the comments and discussions.

"Your enthusiasm and feedback inspired us to work even harder to make sure that this pack is everything it could be," she wrote. "So we've decided to take a little more time to work on the expansion pack."

She followed it with the announcement saying that "The Sims 4: Get Together" will be released in North America on Dec. 8 and will roll out to the rest of the world by the end of that week. The little wait will all be worth it though as the developer of the game, Maxis, has been working hard in adding "more polish and depth" into the core of the game. They are promising to bring to fans a bigger, better and definitely cooler "The Sims" gaming experience.

New features and items are expected to come along with the expansion pack and some of it include a new board game called "Don't Wake the Llama" and a diving rock in the Natural Pool for the Sims to jump off. The previously revealed additional back in August will still be there including the new area called Windenburg, new DJ and dancing skills and the ability to make a Club.

The Clubs will be a highlight since this will let gamers make their Sim create new social experiences. There's going to be a special hangout place called the Upper Crusts and it has a private room at the local Café. The Spin Masters will also get an exclusive Discotheque, the place where they can practice their dance moves.

As noted in Latin Post, the Sims will be able to do whatever they want when in a club. It will just then depend on the player how they will control the behavior of their Sim.
