'The Vampire Diaries' Cast News, Update: Newly Married Cast Member Discusses How Her Pregnancy Affects Season 7 Production
The entertainment world has been enamoured lately with the social media updates from Candice King (nee Accola), the actress who plays Caroline in The CW's hit supernatural drama TV series "The Vampire Diaries."
The 28-year-old recently shared her news of pregnancy on Instagram and it garnered a lot of attention especially from fans of the vampire show who were wondering how her situation will play out in the seventh season.
In an interview with TVLine, Mrs. King revealed that "production has known about our exciting news and there's been a lot of support."

"Julie [Plec] and Caroline [Dries] are the best people to ask about [whether or not her pregnancy will be written into the show.] To be honest, I'm along for the ride just like the viewers are," she told the media outlet (via TVLine).
She further told TVLine that viewers won't be seeing any less of her character despite the pregnancy.
"Caroline's not always in every episode anyway, so that helps a little bit, but Caroline has, so far, been a really big part of the season," she said (via TVLine). "Every single season, we think we know the way it's going to go, but it always changes by the end. It could really go anywhere.
The singer-songwriter went on to divulge that fans should also expect a "more fully realized Caroline Forbes" when Season 7 opens.
She said that Caroline will "get her bite back" and that they will see her coming in "as a badass, and sometimes she might act without thinking things totally through."
Along with these changes, King confirmed to the website that despite Elena's (Nina Dobrev) "departure" from Mystic Falls, Caroline and the gals will be making a good account on all the happenings that she is about to miss during her slumber through their daily diary entries. The actress went on to say that flash forwards and the diary moments are definitely a "really beautiful addition to the season."
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 premieres October 8 on The CW.
