'The Vampire Diaries' Season 7 News: Damon, Bonnie, and Alaric Take a Road Trip

The upcoming episode of "The Vampire Diaries" season 7 is expected to seek more details about Lily.

It was revealed that Damon, Bonnie, and Alaric will be going on a road trip. Headed for Myrtle Beach, the three will be working together in order to learn more about Lily. However, it was confirmed that the trip will take a pivotal turn. A recent teaser for the episode showed Bonnie asking Alaric if has the potential to destroy the Phoenix Stone. This question was due to the fact that she had a vision about its destruction. Meanwhile, Alaric told her that the stone is already gone.

Kat Graham recently shared details about their trip, revealing that fans should expect some gore along the way. She told TV Line, "This Oscar meeting takes a violent, crazy turn. A lot is happening in the beginning of the season as we go on these little missions. This one is all about the Phoenix Stone; we're going to learn why it's important, what it can do and how it's connected to other things."
