'The Voice' Season 12 News: All Four Teams Complete; Battle Rounds Kick Off March 20

All the four coaches of "The Voice" season 12 were able to complete their teams on the final night of the Blind Auditions on Wednesday, March 15.

A performer since she was young, Vanessa Ferguson was the first artist to perform that night. For the auditions, she sang The Chainsmokers' "Don't Let Me Down." Alicia Keys and Gwen Stefani were the first to turn but Blake Shelton followed and said, "I'd love the chance to work with you." In the end, the amateur singer chose Team Alicia, with whom she bonded with over their being New Yorkers.

The next to perform was Dawson Coyle, who shared how he had lost his home and all his possessions in a massive house fire. Sharing small talk with the coaches, Coyle said he believes life is precious and so he should take advantage of every single drop of it. He then performed "Happiness" by Needtobreathe but only Shelton turned around, so he became part of Team Blake by default.

Singing "American Woman" by The Guess Who, Jozy Bernadette rendered a fun rock performance. Both Adam Levine and Stefani turned, and while Levine sang her praises, the female rocker chose Stefani. "Gwen, I pick you no doubt," she said. At that point, Team Gwen was finally complete and only two more spots were to be filled.

Stephen Borris was up next. He offered his own rendition of Bob Marley's "Three Little Birds" and gave it a new twist. Unfortunately, nobody turned around.

When bar singer Sheena Brook performed "Baby Girl" by Sugarland, Levine turned right away. Since he was the only one who turned, Brook became Team Adam by default and is now the only country artist on his team.

Different artists followed, and Keys was the only one left to complete her team. Keys mentioned several times throughout the night that she was looking for a specific voice, something bluesy. When it was time for the last artist to audition to perform, Chris Blue of Knoxville captured the heart of Keys, who was more than ecstatic to have finally found the one she was looking for.

"The Voice" Battle Rounds kicks off on Monday, March 20 at 8 p.m. EDT on NBC.
