Woman Stuns 'The Voice' Judges With Her Audition of 'Wind Beneath My Wings'
At first they were hesitant to turn around and quite literally face the music. But then the anthem became too powerful for them to ignore.
On the Un versiited Kingdom'son of the hit talent program "The Voice," the four judges seemed firm to not turn to face the contestant.
However, Irene Alano-Rhodes, originally from Manilla in the Philippines, was not going to be so easily defeated in her rendition of "Wind Beneath My Wings."
Eventually, as the notes hit got higher and the emotion stronger, two of the four judges pushed their buttons and turned to face the contestant.
Posted to YouTube by the BBC's "The Voice UK" account on Jan. 23, the brief yet epic performance by Alano-Rhodes has gotten more than 168,000 views.
