'The Walking Dead' Season 6 Spoilers: the Saviors Pose Fresh Challenges for Rick

After the shocking midseason finale of the hit AMC series "The Walking Dead," the return of season 6 is expected to bring more problems to the series.

The previous episode of "The Walking Dead" season 6 hinted at the introduction of a new character named Negan. It was revealed that the character will be played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan and is a notorious character from "The Walking Dead" comics.

With that, fans are expecting that the series will bring on a group of people who call themselves the Saviors, which are apparently led by Negan. Comic book readers are aware that the group is expected to be the most violent group of people that Rick and his group will ever meet.

The previous episodes have already revealed some members of Savior: Dwight, Sherry, Wade, and Cam. However, fans are hoping that many of the characters from the comic book will be making their way into the small screens as well.

One of the interesting Savior members from the comic book is Tara, who is actually already introduced in the series. However, the series portrayed her differently when she was seen as a part of another crew before joining Rick. In the comic books, she was known as a brutal member of the Saviors.

However, fans know that the new characters will not be the only enemies faced by the group. The characters will still have to face the walkers present in the series. Greg Nicotero, the special effects supervisor of the series, recently shared some details about the appearances of some walkers in the upcoming return of the series.

According to Cinema Blend, he stated, "The only thing you'll never see is a Ray Harryhausen[-inspired], perfectly clean skeleton walking around because obviously, there's no muscle. We still try to keep to the reality of [needing] muscle to move the bone to move the body, but it's just something that we continue to push every season with new sculptures and pushing the elements of what we can."

"The Walking Dead" season 6 returns to AMC on Sunday, Feb. 14.
