The Weeknd is Aware of Selena Gomez and Justin Beiber Reconnection, Sources Say
Hollywood has always been a relatively murky space for relationships. Fans live through the daily anxiety of having to read another breakup. One such couple whose relationship and subsequent fall out were highly publicized is "Wolves" singer Selena Gomez and "Love Yourself singer Justin Bieber.
Considering that it has been years since news of them together popped up, their current growing closeness has fans concerned about Gomez's current relationship with "Starboy" singer The Weeknd.
"Selena is still with The Weeknd, and she only sees Justin as a friend," a source told Entertainment Tonight. "Selena is the one who got Justin involved in this church. It was her attempt to help turn his life around, and it really did help. He's really committed to it and has formed a strong network. So, they have a lot of mutual friends now from that."

Furthermore, the source elaborated that Bieber and Gomez are not romantically involved. Instead, this way their attempt at reconciling after years of conflict. The initiative to reconnect came after reports of Gomez's kidney transplant due to lupus came out, according to Us Weekly. Meanwhile, the Weeknd is well-aware that they are reconnecting and spending time together. Considering that he is currently on tour for his album, fans had solid ground to be worried about his relationship with Gomez.
Given everything that Gomez has experienced in the past few months following her health problems, the pop singer seems to be determined to foster a new life outlook, as she also recently reconnected with "Sorry Not Sorry" singer Demi Lovato in Los Angeles after holding conversations over social media.
Gomez and Bieber were an on-again, off-again couple from 2011 to 2014. Though they have previously been civil, this is the first time in a long while since the two has been spotted together.
