'The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt' Patch 1.08 Update Release Date Soon With New Features
CD Projekt RED, the team behind the world role-playing game "The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt," is on the process of making the 1.08 patch happen. Not only are they working on the patch but as well as on the final free DLC pack including the New Game Plus mode and the bigger expansions launching in the future, according to reports.
The game with patch 1.07 was launched on the Xbox One, PS4, and the PC last May 19, 2015. It revealed to have some bits of issues including the restriction with regards to the use of the gamers' inventory items. The issue of the limit had been raised by the increased demand of levels for couple of items.
The patch 1.08 for the game has been designed to find solutions with the patch 1.07 issues. There will be bug-fixing as well as adding of other features which will target to enhance gameplay experience. Players will also then be able to use Wolven Hour which will let the gamers make use of their gear and items for 60 minutes. After the time is up, settings will be reset to the original requirements of levels for each needed items.
iDigital Times also revealed that there will be enhancements made with the actions and movements of the lead character, Geralt of Rivia, allowing it to run without being stuck and rolling over before it lands. The update will also bring a brand new set of controls that will lessen the damage to the character when it falls or jumps.
"The Witcher 3" New Game Plus mode will also be introduced as it is the most requested feature. This feature will let the player carry over all items excluding quest items, trophies, letters, usable items and Gwent Cards.
The game also becomes more interesting as it will now feature a free Potion of Clearance. More tweaks will still be made in the future, according to Master Herald.There is no announcement yet as to when the patch 1.08 and the New Game Plus DLC will be released but the update may come out on the game's PC edition first.
