'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt' DLC Update: Blood and Wine To Have 'Awesome' Features
"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is still a long way off so details are hard to come by. But CD Projekt RED recently mentioned the Blood and Wine DLC over at Twitter.
"In a meeting looking at all these new features/changes coming to @witchergame with #BloodandWine expansion pack. One word - AWESOME!" tweeted Marcin Momot, CD Projekt RED's community manager. It seems this was all Momot was allowed to say about the upcoming expansion pack.
Asked when he would be able to share the details with "The Witcher" community, Momot replied not anytime soon. He did, however, say that CD Projekt is definitely taking into account the feedback it has received from "The Witcher" community in the features it's adding and the changes it's making in the upcoming DLC.
"@GeraltKim @witchergame Not yet. But I can tell you that we're implementing a bunch of things based on community's feedback. :)," Momot tweeted.
Blood and Wine is "The Witcher 3's" second and final DLC. It is confirmed to be significantly larger in size than Hearts of Stone. Blood and Wine is expected to arrive in the first half of 2016, but as to when exactly, CD Projekt has yet to announce.
"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's" first expansion pack was Hearts of Stone, which was released in October. The first DLC added some great quests to the game, and Blood and Wine is expected to equal or even surpass it.
Blood and Wine will close Geralt's story for this third installment of the game but not necessarily the end of the franchise. CD Projekt told a TV station in Poland that there might be a possibility of a fourth installment of the video game series. That's right, "The Witcher 4," though not currently in the works, is definitely a possibility in the future, Adam Kicinski, CD Projekt's chief executive officer told the station.
"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is the third part of a series based on a popular Polish book. The game is available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
