'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt' Patch 1.12 Out Now: Issues Fixes to Hearts of Stone and More
CD Projekt Red has recently started rolling out a new patch for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt." The latest update contains fixes for the main game, as well as for the game's DLCs.
On Monday, Jan. 11, CD Projekt Red announced "The Witcher 3's" Patch 1.12. The patch contains more than 70 changes to gameplay, quests, and more. Here are some of the highlights.
Heart of Stone DLC changes
The new patch fixed several issues in the Heart of Stone DLC, chief among them is the issue on the Wild Rose Dethroned achievement.
In the Dead Man's Party quest, the patch now allows players to talk to Shani, spread smoke in all rooms in crypt, and it also limits the inebriation effect after the quest is finished.
The Drakenborg Redemption and The Royal Air Force treasure hunts will no longer remain in the Journal after completing all objectives. The Enchanting: Start-Up Costs phase will also be removed from the Journal after paying a certain amount.
The new patch has also fixed the unlootable container in Kaer Morhen watchtower in Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear quest.
A couple of inaccuracies in the DLC have also been fixed. Caparison of Lament in New Game + mode now grants the correct Stamina bonus, and Viper School swords now display the correct mesh.
Improvement to the general game performance and minor difficulty balance tweaks on all levels have also been introduced.
Quests
The patch has fixed a technical glitch where older patch fixes did not work correctly. It also provides balance improvements in The Lord of Undvik quest where prices of goods in Skellige drop by 10 percent.
Players who have succeeded with Novigrad, Closed City II quest before Patch 1.10 can now see it appear as "completed."
Many inaccuracies have been fixed as well, including the map-pin in Freya Be Praised! treasure hunt and some Character glossary entries. The Nobleman Statuette and The Soldier Statuette now deactivate at the right time, a monster in Contract: Phantom of the Trade Route now disappears correctly, and the objective in The Witchers' Forge now appears at the right time.
Players can now talk to Hattori and Fergus after completing the respective quests, and Nidas now appears in Novigrad during the Black Pearl quest.
There are also a number of changes to the main game's gameplay and more. The complete patch notes details all the improvements and adjustments that CD Projekt Red has in store for the game's players and can be read in full here.
