'The Young and the Restless' August 29-September 2 Spoilers: Adam Briefly Reunites with Chelsea Before Being Gone for Good; Will Victor's Gamble Pay Off in the End?

"The Young and The Restless" (Y&R) spoilers for the week beginning August 29 reveal that Victor (Eric Braeden) gambles big time, but the fallout might be is that Adam may be gone for good. Victor's partner in crime in his latest caper will certainly come as a surprise to the viewers. It turns out that Nikki Newman (Melody Scott) is his co-conspirator in aiding and abetting a criminal.
Adam and Chelsea reunite
With Nikki's help, Chelsea (Melissa Egan) is able to get away with Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois). Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) notices that they are gone and searches for them. She has no doubt that Chelsea would rather be with Adam more than anything, even if it means being on the run.

The family of three is indeed spending some quality time in a cabin, but they know that their time together is running out say, "The Young and the Restless" spoilers. Meanwhile, Victor is fending off Dylan's accusations that he facilitated Adam's escape from prison. He tells Dylan that one day, he will understand how it is to sacrifice anything for the sake of your son.
Dylan and Paul are able to track Adam and Chelsea in the cabin while they were about to go to bed. But, the preview video shows Dylan and Paul staring at the taillights of a car getting away. As per "The Young and the Restless" spoilers, the Adam storyline went into this direction in order to give Justin Hartley, the actor playing Adam, a planned break from the show to work on his primetime series "This Is Us".
Making Adam escape alone and remain at large make sense. It will not be surprising if Chelsea encourages him to get away even if she and Connor stay behind. It can also be remembered that Nick Newman once promised Adam that he will take care of Chelsea and Connor. It might be something Adam will hold on to during his escape. Nick will be there for Chelsea as she copes with her life without Adam.
The 11,000th episode
September 1 will also mark the 11,000th episode of "The Young and the Restless". Two guests will be making an appearance for this special milestone. Lee Phillip Bell, the soap's co-creator and mother of Lauralee Bell, who plays Christine Williams, will return for the second time ever in Y&R since a decade ago. Her character will surprise Christine and Paul in the show.
Another guest star this week is Nichelle Nichols, who was cast as Lt. Uhura in "Star Trek". She will play Neil Winters' (Kristoff St. John) mother, who is in a pretty bad shape in a medical facility. He confronts her about abandoning him, after Lily (Christel Khalil) and Devon (Bryton James) encouraged her to do so.
Summer calls off wedding with Luca
"The Young and the Restless" spoilers hint that early in the week, Luca (Miles Villanueva) will come clean to Summer (Hunter King) about being responsible for the Newman oil rig disasters. She calls off the wedding during the heated argument that ensued. Things get worse between them when Jack (Peter Bergman) shows up and Luca threatens to hurt Summer.
Luca ends up being arrested and broken hearted at the same time. Summer cries on Jack's shoulder as he wonders why Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) is not answering her phone to help her daughter who has a problem. It turns out that Phyllis is with Billy (Jason Thompson) at her office in Jabot.
She is having a jealous tantrum and tells Billy that the reason she broke off with him was because Jill (Jess Walton) forced her to after she found out about their relationship. This only made their argument heat up even more. Billy will later confront his mother.

Travis Crawford (Michael Roark) is back in town and reveals Luca's deception. He sleeps with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) before telling her that he is back to stay. If she and Billy are indeed done, he wants to give things a try with her and she looks like she wants that, too. However, Billy walks in on them while they are in bed.
Daniel (Michael Graziadei) discovers that he likes talking with Mariah (Camryn Grimes). He realizes that he wants to spend more time with her, after they exchanged thoughts about her sister Cassie's death and his role in it.
"The Young and the Restless" spoilers disclose that that Victor will make a major sacrifice for his family by the end of the week. Viewers will also know if Victor will face more jail because of Adams escape. He is the one responsible for setting him up in the first place. Do the cops have enough evidence to finally pin Victor down?
