'The Young and the Restless': Nick Thinks Adam's Death Is No Accident, Seeks Answers From Chelsea
Relationships progress as suspicions over the explosion that killed Adam (Justin Hartley) are brought to light in the next episode of CBS' hit daytime soap opera "The Young and the Restless."
According to the "Day Ahead Recap" on Soaps.com, Nick (Joshua Morrow) will be discussing the matter with his mother, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), after revealing how the mere mention of Adam's name sent Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) into a tailspin the previous night. Nick wonders what if the cabin explosion that took Adam's life was not really an accident, but is instead the work of devious minds? Nikki tells her son that Paul (Doug Davidson) and Dylan (Steve Burton) had been thorough with their investigation.
She does wonder, though, who would have had the motivation to kill Adam, and Nick suddenly remembers what Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) told him about something life-changing that happened around six months ago.
Another highlight of the upcoming episode is Kevin (Greg Rikaart) telling Michael (Christian Le Blanc) his plan of proposing to Chloe. Michael will not be convinced of his brother's choice for a lifelong partner but will end up relenting after Kevin insists that Chloe is a changed woman. How will this budding relationship be affected once the circumstances behind Adam's death are revealed?
Another relationship that will see progress is that of Billy (Jason Thompson) and Victoria's (Amelia Heinle), which will even be sealed with a kiss before he leaves for Toronto.
Meanwhile, Friday's episode will see Nick questioning Chelsea about the device he found inside Connor's toy dinosaur. Devon (Bryton James) will be cutting ties with Hilary (Mishael Morgan) before presenting a proposition for Neil (Kristoff St. John). For her part, Nikki will be befriending a mysterious stranger, and Kevin will finally pop the question to Chloe.
"The Young and the Restless" airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
