'The Young & The Restless' Casting News and Spoilers: Tensions Rise Between Chelsea and Chloe, Elizabeth Hendrickson to Quit?
"The Young and the Restless" fans are still wondering what exactly happened to Adam Newman, but this week's show will have even more drama in store.
According to spoilers online, visitors arrive in Genoa City during a crossover between "The Young & the Restless" and its legendary counterpart "The Bold & the Beautiful" this week. Forrester Creations owners Rick and Caroline Forrester from "B&B" arrive for the city's fashion show, which is hosted by Chelsea and Chloe.
Ahead of the show, a confrontation between Chelsea and Chloe progresses from verbal to physical, according to Celebrity Dirty Laundry. Chloe seeks revenge after learning that Chelsea left her out of a deal with the Forresters by planning to ruin her special outfit, according Soap Central.com. "Y&R" fans will also find out if Chloe ends up in prison, the psych ward, or elsewhere after another major breakdown this week.
News of a blowout between Chelsea and Chloe arrives just after rumors arose suggesting that actress Elizabeth Hendrickson may be leaving "Y&R." The actress has portrayed Chloe for over six years, but her contract with the CBS soap opera is ending soon, and reports indicate she has no intention to renew it.
Also visiting Genoa City this week is cult leader and con-man Ian Ward. When Victor Newman hears the news, he threatens Ian to stay away, but Ian is unaffected. Ian's arrival comes just as fans learn more about Adam's supposed death earlier this year.
In January, "Y&R" fans were disappointed over the disappearance of the character Adam Newman after actor Michael Muhney was fired from the show. However, fans suspected that Adam had not actually died after his wife Chelsea was refused a viewing of the body. Furthering beliefs that Adam would be back on "Y&R": a hand with a wedding ring on it believed to be Adam's made an appearance last week when the camera panned to a newspaper picture of Chelsea.
Nevertheless, fans are still wondering about who was responsible for the fake death, and what is in it for them. "The Young and the Restless" airs most weekdays on CBS.
