These Are 'The Division' Enemy Factions Players Will Face in the Game

Ubisoft recently released a new trailer showcasing the different enemies that players will go up against in its upcoming shooter RPG title "Tom Clancy's The Division."

In a video published on Tuesday at the Ubisoft US YouTube channel, the company showcased the three enemy factions in the game. The video (below) provides a brief synopsis of each group and provides fans another glimpse of the Cleaners and the Rikers. It also confirms the third faction as the Last Man Battalion, as previously leaked in a beta footage.

The Cleaners are a group of citizens who believe in starting anew. To achieve this goal, they intend to cleanse the city from the virus by burning everything and everyone standing in their way. Members of this faction wear hazmat suits and are armed with flamethrowers.

The Rikers

Meanwhile, the Rikers are a group of escaped convicts. This group of criminals vow never to return to prison again. They go about killing those in league with the authorities which they abhor.

The Last Man Battalion

The last and final faction of "The Division" is the Last Man Battalion. The recently concluded closed beta provided plenty of hints to this group's existence, and now Ubisoft has finally introduced them officially. The LMB consists of former military personnel under the command of a certain Lieutenant Colonel Charles Bliss. The LMB leader is briefly shown in the trailer below.

The LMB's objective is to protect high-value civilian assets or the rich. Aside from being highly trained, they are also well equipped, thanks to heavy financial backing. This last group is expected to provide the most challenge to "The Division" players.

These factions will challenge "The Division" agents in their goal of restoring order and saving what remains in the post-pandemic New York City. Those interested in getting to know them can watch the video below or participate in the upcoming open beta that starts next week.

The open beta is expected to be the last beta before "Tom Clancy's The Division" launches on March 8 to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
