Third Day Highlights Successful Tour With 'Live Wire' DVD/CD
On the heels of its second consecutive American Music Award nomination and a media blitz that included recent high-profile performances at the Republican National Convention and on NBC’s “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno,” GRAMMY and Dove Award winning rock band Third Day is preparing for the upcoming release of Live Wire , a special two-disc live DVD/CD set on Nov. 23. Sure to be a collector’s item for Third Day fans everywhere, Live Wire hits store shelves Thanksgiving week, traditionally the biggest retail week of the year.
Recorded at The Palace Theater in Louisville, Ky., Live Wire captures the high-energy live performance that keeps Third Day fans coming back again and again to sold-out venues across the country. The special two-disc set pairs a 64-minute DVD with a live audio CD. The spectacular footage, shot by renowned production company Jupiter Project, includes Third Day hits like “Consuming Fire,” “Sing a Song,” “Offering” and “My Hope Is You,” along with new favorites “’Til the Day I Die,” “Come On Back to Me,” “I Believe,” “RockStar” and more from the band’s critically-acclaimed CD Wire.

Live Wire ’s special DVD features include a brand new behind-the-scenes rockumentary featuring backstage footage and never-before-seen moments with the band. As a special tribute to Third Day fans, both the DVD and CD will include the special bonus track, “Thank You All.”
“It was great to get to do this in Louisville with Third Day again,” says Carl Deibold of Jupiter Project. “It’s our third project with them and we look forward to this release.”
Live Wire will release in the midst of Third Day’s anticipated 44-city Live Wire Tour, providing a great piece of concert memorabilia for fans who want to relive the Third Day live experience. Kicking off Sept. 30 in Champaign, Ill., the tour will hit arenas and coliseums across the country, wrapping up on Dec. 11. The Live Wire Tour features special guest tobyMac and openers Day of Fire and Hyper Static Union.
