This 10-Year-Old Wants to Cure Cancer - Here's Why He Might Actually Do It (VIDEO)
Like most 10-year-olds, Tanishq Abraham finished his school year last week and won't be back in class until the fall. Unlike most 10-year-olds, his school be a college, American River College in Sacramento, Calif., where he'll be taking five classes that semester. The school year he finished last week? That was him graduating from high school.
From an early age, it was clear Tanishq was on a faster track than everyone else. He was doing arithmetic at 2. At 4, he scored in the 99.9th percentile on an IQ test, paving the way for membership in Mensa. As his mother homeschooled him through high school, Tanishq began taking college courses.
After getting his associate's degree from American River College, Tanishq plans to transfer to Harvard, MIT or Cornell. He hopes to become a doctor and find a cure for cancer. We're looking forward to it.
