This 14-Year-Old Girl is On A Mission to Stop Hunger In America
It's a blessing to see teenagers that want to inspire one another. The brightest of the youth are those involved in their schools, families, communities and places of worship. In this case, Katie Stagliano has a dream to one day feed all the homeless people in the world. Her story inspires the world!
There are teenagers that value their hard work and achievement, and then there is going completely above and beyond for the less fortunate. The spirited 14-year-old Katie developed a penchant for gardening after harvesting a giant 40-pound cabbage. That led to her starting a single soup kitchen, which became a full-on enterprise. Her dream came from realizing how families in need could be "just like my family."
"For all I know they could be my family who've fallen on hard times," the teen said.
Katie's new goal is to have 500 gardens in 50 states. At the rate she is going, anything is possible!
"In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'" - Acts 20:35
