This Boy's Heartwarming Act of Kindness and Sacrifice is the Kind of Story Everyone Should See (VIDEO)
Hector Montoya of Grand Prairie, Tex. wanted a Playstation 4, and he was going to get it the old-fashioned way: saving up for it. He had $300 put away after a year.
However, when he heard about a deadly fire in a home that didn't have a smoke detector, he decided the money would go to a far better use. Hector used his PS4 money to buy 100 smoke detectors for families who could not afford them.
This NBC 5 DFW report shows how Hector's kindness blessed his community.
In the end, Hector didn't have to wait another year to recoup the money for the $400 system. Ashton Harder and sister Peyton of Allen, Tex. decided to buy him a Playstation 4 after hearing his inspiring story.
