After NBC released 'This is Us' official 2 and a half – minute trailer online, the video got more than 15 million views in 48 hours via Facebook. This is a record-breaking first for the series the fact that has not premiered yet. The most popular so far as the premier trailed for The CW's Legends of Tomorrow with 4.1 million views in 48 hours.

'This is Us' plot and characters
Jack, played by Milo Ventimiglia, shares the same birthday as with his group of friends. The friends turn 36 and from the looks of it, their lives are changing. The series will evolve in the lives of these characters which viewers will be able to relate to. The trailer showed some ups and downs of each character as they celebrate their special day.
Got the drama in "dramedy," but comedy?
Viewers noticed that the main character Jack was able to get the drama part of the "dramedy." Rebecca, played by Mandy Moore, and Jack were having some loving time in the bedroom when suddenly the scene turns into Rebecca giving birth and then afterwards an infant was lost. Instantly the scene between the two new parents went from some comedy to dead serious. It was lucky that other characters bring some laughter in the later part of the trailer.
Aside from Milo Ventimiglia and Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley, Susan Kelechi Watson, Chris Sullivan and Ron Cephas Jones also star in 'This is Us.' This new NBC series is written and created by Dan Fogelman famous for his works such as Danny Collins, Crazy, Stupid, Love and Galavant. The pilot episode was directed by Glen Ficarra and John Requa.
'This is Us' is not the only NBC show premiering this season. 'The Good Place' is another comedy that is looking for a good response from viewers as it butts heads with Grey's Anatomy and Legends of Tomorrow. 'The Good Place' stars Kristen Bell and Ted Danson.
