Paula White, husband announce divorce – Aug. 23, 2007
This week marks the anniversary of when televangelist Paula White announced her divorce from Without Walls International co-pastor Randy White.
At a Thursday evening worship service held at the Tampa, Florida-based Without Walls International, Paula and Randy White stood beside each other and informed their 23,000-member congregation of their split.
Their marriage had lasted 18 years, with the co-leaders of the church saying that the divorce came as a result of their lives taking them in irreconcilably different directions.
Both had been previously divorced before getting married. Paula White would later marry Jonathan Cain, a musician known being a member of the band Journey, in April 2015.
Paula White, already a source of theological controversy over her views on the prosperity gospel, would later become a key spiritual advisor to President Donald Trump.
